Simple BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup ketchup
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp liquid smoke
- 2 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt (add more to taste, if desired)
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper (add more to taste, if desired)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a small to small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Stir occasionally to keep from burning.
- Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, for about 10 more minutes until the sauce thickens.

How To Store the Simple BBQ Sauce
Allow the sauce to cool and store it to a jar with a tight lid. A mason jar works great! I also like to repurpose spaghetti sauce jars to cut down on household waste.
