Greek Yogurt Breakfast Bowls To-Go
After dinner every night is when we put together breakfast and/or lunch for the following day, if needed. Zach used to be obsessed with the Chobani Flips but it’s not really enough for a *good* breakfast (by my standards). They’re more of a snack so I took that idea and turned it into a complete meal. The addition of chia seeds (fiber, protein, vitamins, minerals), nuts (healthy fats, antioxidants), granola (whole grains) and fresh fruit help to round it out. I want to make sure we get a breakfast that’s going to hold.
I recently decided to do a little experimenting with making my own Flips and these Greek yogurt breakfast bowls are our go-to quick breakfast!
While pondering a solution to the whole “flip” container, I came across these (affiliate link) on Amazon. They are amazing and haven’t leaked so far 🙌.
Instead of buying yogurt, I make my own following this Instant Pot recipe from Frieda Loves Bread. It’s SO easy and makes great yogurt! It hasn’t failed me yet. You can always just use your favorite brand of plain or vanilla yogurt though!
All of the combinations call for granola which you can purchase or make by following my Stove Top Granola recipe HERE.
Here are some of the combinations I’ve come up with so far:

Instructions
- Add the yogurt and fruit to the container or bowl.
- Top with the remaining ingredients.
- If you're using the to-go container, add the remaining ingredients to the top and the yogurt and fruit in the bottom as shown in the picture above.
Can I use frozen fruit?
Yes! These actually work really well with frozen fruits. I would just recommend putting the Greek yogurt breakfast bowls together the night before so they have time to thaw overnight in the fridge.
On another note, using different flavors of yogurt also adds a different dimension! Try vanilla, banana, coconut, etc.!
